Execute the Tail Program

 

The Execute button is disabled until the File Name dropdown field contains a valid file name.

 

Once the execute button is enabled, the file can be tailed for the last ‘n’ number of lines defined in the Lines To Tail field.

 

If the file changes while you are viewing the tailed portion of the file, the status bar will be updated to reflect a change. For example,

 

To pick up any changes you must execute the Tail again unless you have Tail Automatically on File Change checked.
